Wishing to empower women everywhere, Olivia von Halle is a proud supporter of Women for Women International. Since 1993, Women for Women International has supported over 462,000 of the most socially-excluded women survivors of war in Afghanistan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kosovo, Nigeria, Rwanda and Northern Iraq.
This week, Olivia von Halle is delighted to announce our sister, Mawazo, has recently graduated from her training programmes after months of training and navigating the challenges of COVID-19 with her peers. Mawazo has gained the tools and knowledge she needs to rebuild her life. She has become financially independent, regained confidence and is able to actively participate in her community. We are so proud, and cannot wait to meet our new sister and support her on her own journey to empowerment.
Please explore their important work, and discover more about the incredible and inspiring journeys these women undertake, of which Olivia von Halle is proud to play a part. Women for Women International’s year-long programme equips women to earn money, regain their confidence and actively participate in their communities. Joining the programme, she comes together with 24 other women, forming a tight support group that helps to break the isolation caused by war and insecurity.
