Style of Note: Lesley M.M. Blume for Violet Grey

The iconic author, journalist and biographer Lesley M.M. Blume climbed ‘In [to] bed with Robert Evans’ in a three-part series for Violet Grey, interviewing the legendary Hollywood producer dressed in OvH. Evans is known for his work on classic films including Rosemary’s Baby (1968), The Godfather (1972) and Chinatown (1974). Evans’ bed is notorious. It has long been established as his ‘de facto office’, in which ‘Industry luminaries like Sharon Stone and Jack Nicholson (and non-industry ones like Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist Slash) are just a few of the insiders who have made such bedside pilgrimages.’  Whilst traversing subjects from show business to his seven marriages Blume wore our Lila Joy silk pyjamas, the perfect nod to the hedonistic glamour of a bygone Hollywood and the decadent parties that were held in his Beverly Hills estate.
